Grand Princess must do's

We are going on our first cruise ever on the Grand Princess to the Western Caribbean March 31. It seems so huge that I can't imagine getting to everything on one trip. What are some things we shouldn't miss? We are an active couple in our late 40's.

We have been on the Grand twice and love it. The best advise is to check and recheck your Patter's Newletter everyday for events. We liked going to all of the nightly shows and would arrange our dining time to allow for us to go from one show to the next. Be sure to go to:

Princess Pop Star

Newlywed not/so Newlywed game

Art Auction (we didnt buy anything but enjoyed watching and drinking champagne)

Afternoon Tea

Capt cocktail party (first formal night, free drinks and appetizers)

Champagne Waterfall (second formal night)

Island Night ( so much fun with dancing and games, on deck)

Culinary demonstration and galley tour

50's Sock Hop

We liked to listen to the piano player in the Atrium

Vegging by the aft pool

3:30 Ice cream in the Horizon Court

Dancing at Skywalker's, looking out the windows at the great view of the ocean from Skywalker's

Going to Horizon Court at 1am (after Skywalker's) for a snack

Have fun!!

Dance at Skywalker's while suspended 13-14 stories over the deep blue sea at the stern of the ship!

We are also in our late 40's and enjoy the piano bar entertainment (some are better than others).

If you like to golf, check out the Chapel Caye Golf while at Belize City. I am not sure if it is available for you but it is an experience. You take a 15 minute flight in a 12 seater prop to a private island off the coast of Belize. The only thing on the island is the course/resort! You come down the runway and jump into your cart then off to the huge cluhouse you go. En Route you pass about a dozen villas which all have there own private beach. You can check with Elite Golf which runs the golf excursions for many of the lines.
