White Water Rafting in Limon, Costa Rica

Although we rarely take ship tours, we took Carnival's white water rafting tour last month when we were in Puerto Limon because we were concerned about making it back on time given the distance from the ship and time we had in port.

The rafting was very good, but too short - about 45 minutes on the river. There had been heavy rains that morning so the river was running high and fast which made it more fun, but even shorter than usual. It also meant that we did very little work. Our guide said that the rapids were a combination of class II and III.

After rafting they took us to a place where we could change and have a buffet lunch. And, of course, they tried to sell us a DVD of the trip.
