We are considering the Avalon cruise from Budapest and back to Budapest.

Has anyone done this trip? Are there others planning on going?

I think we want to go up the river and back. Avalon has a tour that sounds cool. I don't know if it was available this year or not. Looking for more information.

Hi Kadcad,

I Know, I was just joshing you. A round trip would be great - it would simplify the air fare portion of your trip. It would also give you the opportunity to get back to some favourite places that you see on the front portion of you trip, or get some more yummy things you didn't get enough of. I can think of a lot of thinks I'd like to do and have again if given the chance.

No, we're not looking to dance, just picked a River Cruise with that name.

The tour begins and ends in Budapest and the more I read the better I like the city. We are thinking of adding a couple of days to the beginning of the tour and are looking for a place to stay near some sights. Any ideas?

We are going from Budapest to Prague on the Avalon Poetry on July 19. We spend 2 days in Budapest in the beginning and 3 days in Prague at the end.
