2 Upper Bunks vs. 1

We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 8 and 10 year old). Our cabin on the Inspiration (E194) is noted on the deck plan as having 2 uppers. Is this better than 1 upper and a sofa or worse? I'm thinking it may be better since it will free up some floor space. Anyone had a room w/ 2 uppers?

I have always had 2 uppers for my children 11and 7. A friend of

mine had 1 upper for her children and a cot brought in at night.

she said they fought every night about who would sleep where.

That is why I always get 2 uppers:)

We've had both. I prefer the two uppers.
