Question about balcony rooms and noise on Legend

Hi all...

 

Just about ready to book on Carnival Legend in Sept. 07 and wanted to run a quick question by you all...

 

How is the noise out on the balcony during the day and evening if you have an extended balcony room on the Verandah deck on the Legend, possibly cabin number 7193, 7180, 7186 or 7188? If I was sitting out on balcony, how much noise will I be hearing from the Lido deck? The Verandah deck is two decks down from the Lido.

I was a deck below the lido in 8153 and heard very little noise. The occasional deck chair being moved, but not much. I would think that a deck below that, you would be fine.

I was very impressed on the Miracle- we had an aft balcony and there was a late deck party up on the lido deck-- we heard nothing at all.

I was midship on the Panorama deck on the Legend during the 1/3 (1/4) sailing, just below Lido deck -- heard very little noise, just the occasional chair scrape or soft footsteps. About the only balcony noise you'll get is from the wind.

We were in 8216 on Panorama and heard no noise whatsoever from the Lido deck (directly above) us. I think we were in a good location though, right under the "hallway" area to the Unicorn Cafe, I believe.
