Debarking Early

We're booked on the February 5 Hong Kong to Bangkok Nautica cruise. The ship arrives Laem Chabang (Bangkok's port, 2+ hours from Bangkok) at 8 a.m. on 2/19, with debarkation set for 2/20 a.m. We would like to debark the ship and arrange private transportation to Bangkok upon docking on the 19th. Does anyone know if we will encounter any problems with either Oceania or Thai immigration if we do this? We will be visiting another Thailand port prior to our arrival in Laem Chabang, so perhaps we can clear immigration at that port.

I've e-mailed Oceania's customer service with this question, but they haven't responded. My TA is recovering from surgery, so I'm hoping someone on this thread has experienced a similar situation and can advise accordingly.

Many thanks

Mike
