JimandChicky Posted January 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2007 Checking on Carnival's website they list a 7 nt w. carribean out of port canavaral on 05-19-07 balcony starting at $849.00, I received an email from a travel agent for same cruise, same everything and they quoted me a price of $818.60 pp including port charges/tax. I see that Carnival has a lowest price guarantee, they say you won't find a lower price on line within 24 hours. What exactly does that mean? Will Carnival match the price quote of a TA? Do you have to book within 24 hours?
Arwenmark Posted January 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2007 I would say it means that if you booked with Carnival and then within 24 hours found a lower price anywhere they would honor it. Not much of a incentive to me. I would expect them to honor any lower price right up to final payment at the very least.
