A/C vehicle--need quick responses!

Hi, our tour guide has written to say that his van's A/C is broken now.

 

We tour St. Kitts (all day tour--9 hours) in a couple of weeks with our Mom who is 77 and rather frail.

 

Is it a deal breaker to have a vehicle with no A/C?

Thanks for the response. I emailed him this morning and haven't heard back from him so, I just emailed again.
