limo from Ft Lauderdale to Miami

Sailing the Triumph on 1/8/05 - we fly in to Ft Lauderdale. Looking for suggestions as to hotels in either Ft Lauderdale or Miami. We'd like to take a limo from Ft Lauderdale to the port in Miami - any suggestions?

Sure. lots. Right now I'd go with Absolute Limousine Service if I had to pick just one.

Also, you can stay in either place and have a great pre-cruise hotel stay. If you're wanting to hook up with others from your sailing I'd pick a downtown Miami hotel but it's surely not required.

LifeIsCuising thanks for the info! Thinking of staying at Pier 66 - was recommended by our tavel agent, but DH prefers Miami - we'll see!

You won't go wrong with either one. Two real different experiences though. Miami very urban, Fort Lauderdale more suburban...to me anyway

I totally agree with Chris. I used Absolute Limosuines and they were fabulous! We flew into Ft. Lauderdale, and our hotel was the Mariott Fairfield Inn on Miami Beach. Very nice hotel...the staff was eager to help. Overall, it was a very good experience. Absolute Limos have a website. I don't know what it is, but I am sure you could do a Google search.
