Beaches in St. Lucia

We will be in St. Lucia on Feb 1 with Carnival Destiny. Has anyone done the Beach Escape to Magical Marigot Bay or Fun at the Beach tours through Carnival? Looking for a good beach - any suggestions?

 

What have you done that was great?

 

Is the tour of the island worth it?

Just returned from a Serenade southern carribean cruise with a stop in St. Lucia. While on the catamaran portion of an RCCL land and sea excursion, we pulled into Marigot Bay beach area to check out the scenery. It is a beautiful spot that we will definitely visit on a future St. Lucia stop. We visited Reduit Bay beach on an earlier cruise and found it to be nice but Marigot Bay tops it in my opinion.
