Diving in Canada

I am sailing on the Carnival Victory to St. John and Halfax on June 28, and I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any decent diving in these location?

Be prepared for cold water. Usually divers in that part of the world wear dry suits.

Some advise from a Canadian. You'll need a 7mm wetsuit, booties and a hood (boy do I hate hoods) and maybe gloves if you're going to dive up here. Enjoy.
