Cab fare from Long Beach to San Pedro??

Anyone know the cab fare from Long Beach airport to San Pedro cruise dock? Are cabs metered? How much do you add for luggage and extra people (four of us)?

This is from the Long Beach airport website. Don't know about baggage. Tip should be about 15%. The Super Shuttle charges $17/person one way, just as a reference.

Georgettecruz, Thanks for the info. I am surprised that it is $36 to San Pedro pier. I was thinking more in the line of $20. How come it is so much more than to the Long Beach port? Must be a greater distance. Anyway you have answered another question for us. We want to pick up a rental car (Enterprise) near the pier post cruise and return it to Long Beach airport the next day. There is a $40 extra fee for the one-way rental. This seems outrageous. However if it is close to $40 to take a cab anyway, might as well pay the fee and drop off at the airport.

A couple weeks ago we took a shuttle van from Long Beach Airport to the Doubletree Hotel in San Pedro (which is very near the port) and for the two of us and it was about $40. Trip took about 35-40 minutes.:)
