Amerisuites Blue Lagoon (Miami)

Does anyone have feedback on this hotel? We're looking at it for a 1 night pre-cruise stay next year. We would prefer to stay closer to the port but hotels are full due to a conference. All comments are appreciated.

We have stayed at this hotel 2 years in a row before and after the cruise. It is very new and very clean the rooms are a good size. They also serve a very good breakfast. The only drawback is there are no restaurants nearby to walk to. But they have a shuttle from the airport which is free and you can arrange for the shuttle to drop you at a nearby restaurant and then pick you up a few hours later.

We really enjoy this hotel and it is very reasonably priced.

Thanks. Yes this helps very much. Since you've been there twice do you have any restaurant recommendations. We are arrving around 7pm Friday and sail on Sat. There are 5 in our group including 2 seniors so I want to make sure we know what are plans are for dinner before arriving.
