Baymont Inn & Suites - Galveston?

According to the info I've found, the hotel was just built last year. I got a nice rate for a room with 2 queen beds and a private balcony.

 

Have any of you stayed there? How was it?

 

I still have time to cancel and book something else if this place sucks.

We had planned to stay there, but have decided to stay with at a friend's house nearby and save $$. I have heard nothing but good things about this property. We had a really good rate also. The only drawback was they didn't have a shuttle service. You could park there for free while you are gone but have to take a cab to the port.

The hotel was very nice.. Big rooms and comfy beds.. Nice breakfast too.. We paid 10.00 for a cab to the pier and left our car at hotel all week for free.. very reasonable prices. New hotel.
