We just booked a short cruise on the inspiration (very last minute for us but such a good deal we could not pass up) we are flying into Tampa and was wondering how far the port is from the airport? Anyone just take a taxi from airport to port? Is this do able or do we need to do the shuttle? Thanks

Very quick and easy. Just take a taxi and you will be there easily as long as it is not rush hour. Greg

Bay shuttle is a option. But they will drive around the airport for the one extra fare with out a care in the world that you are attempting to reach a cruise ship within a reasonable time frame. One family rode around the airport for a hr. looking for 1 person. They will definetly not leave the cruise port without as many people crammed in the van as possible. Sorta like being hurdled in like cattle. I have done it before and will not do it again.
