Speight's Brewery in Dunedin

Anybody done the tour with lunch? We're thinking of doing it on our own. Should we eat elsewhere and do the afternoon tour, or have lunch at the brewery?

We are on the March 12 Sapphire sailing. A group of 16 are doing a private tour with Arthur that day. We have substituted the brewery tour and lunch for the castle stop. Arthur said the castle was more of a manor home and that the brewery was a lot of fun (I think the free beer was the selling point for my husband!). I will post a review so if you are going after me maybe that will help??

Thanks, but we're leaving home on March 16 for pre-cruise, so won't be around to get your review. I looked at Speight's website and it does look like fun...just curious about the food they serve. Maybe I'll email them

You'll be embarking as we leave in Sydney. (That will be a sad day for us - but good for you!)
