Just wondering, how many bags are we allowed to carry onto the ship?

as many as you want :D If you are flying, there is a limit that the airline has, but Carnival does not have any restrictions...

When we boarded the Triumph in May there was an announcement that a family won the "Most Baggage" award by bringing 31 BAGS!!! I thought our 4 was alot

Where in the world did they put 31 bags???? We had a hard enough time with 4!!!! They had to have lined the cabin and floor! That is completely insane!!!!

the poster did ask about carry on- did they mean all the luggage-even stuff checked in with porters??

 

You can carry on all you want as long as it gets through the screener. Remember there will be no one onboard to help you carry the stuff to your cabin. If you are onboard before 1 and cant get to your cabin then ou have to carry that stuff around with you til 1pm. Elevators are very slow that time of day. Can be a real hassle.
