Ocho Rios Snorkeling

Any chance there is any decent snorkeling in Ocho Rios? We have done the Dunns Rivers Falls already and would prefer snokeling.

In my opinion - no

 

based on well over a dozen trips - where I have sometimes gone diving out of boredom (company trips) - I have yet to find a site or operator better than ho-hum for diving with no tempation to try snorkeling. Not in the immediate Ocho area anyway.

 

In general I've not been very excited about diving in any part of JA near a major population center. The waters tend to be nearly barren of fish making for pretty dull dives.
