What to do after our dives?

We will be diving with the Explorer of the Seas dive excursion to the Turneffe Atoll during our cruise Oct.10-17,2004. We can't wait to dive Belize but I would like to go into Belize City and sightsee after our dives. Will we have enough time to do that after our dives? It is worth it to tender into port or should we stay on the ship and relax after our dives? Any souveniers worth getting? Thanks! Jane & Bob
