Buying diapers onboard

My DS was in diapers for his first cruise and we packed a TON of diapers. We figured we'd rather have too many than not enough plus lots of room for souveniers (sp?) on the way home. Well, needless to say we had 3 diapers the day of debarkation - and figured no, sweat. Well, when I went to put them in the diaper bag for our flight home, two of the diapers had one side cut wrong so there was no pull tab on one side. So we had 1 diaper for all day.

I searched high and low for a place to buy diapers. I walked all over the Miami airport and found pull ups in one mini store - they were way too big. I ended up buying medical tape and taped his diapers on him.

Long story short, pack plenty of diapers. They are very hard to find on a cruise;) You probably can find them at any port though.

I've not had to purchase diapers on board the ship, but it seemed to me like there is quite a mark-up on most products found in the ships' gift shops. I can only imagine how expensive diapers would be onboard. You might be better off to bring enough from home or buy them right before you board the ship.
