Castaway-has anyone seen mickey?

My family will be returning to the Disney Wonder in April 2007. This will be our 3rd time on this ship. My children and I would really like to find the sunken mickey. Does anyone know where this is or how to find it? If you ask people as the beach the just tell you to keep snorkeling. LOL

Mickey has always been out in the deepest water by the sunken ship when we have gone. However sometimes they take him in to refurbish him, a couple times a year.

If you dont see him, it is best to ask other snorkelers who are out near the sunken ship. Usually everyone is looking for him. He is very hard to find!!

 

One lady on a cruise before us didnt know the head actually screws on and someone had loosened it and she touch it and his head fell off.

She wa so upset all crying, she had be headed Mickey!!:eek:

She told the life guard and he laughed and said dont worry, it has happened a few times and someone would swim down and fix him soon.

A few people saw this happen and told others so she was famous all over the ship for beheading Mickey.:D

In November, facing the water, Mickey was to the right just past the first lifeguard stand.

 

To get a photo with Mickey, deflate your vest and swim down a few feet.
