Wheelchair and 24 hr. O2

I need a wheelchair for any substantial distances and have that covered fairly well, but I don't recall the subject of 24 hr oxygen. I presently have a concentrator and 12 back up tanks of various sizes stored in my home.

My question is short of lugging around 30 or so tanks for ports what are my alternatives? I know there are companies that specialize in this sort of thing. I'd appreciate any comments.

I went on oxygen last July and we have done two cruises since then. We purchased an Airsep oxygen concentrator as we travel a lot. It's the only thing I use when we travel. It plugs in, runs on battery or plugs into the outlet in the car. It's also accepted on most airlines. The only downside is the battery life is only 50 minutes, so we carry 10 batterys with us.

There is also the Inogen One concentrator which I believe has a better battery.

I was also lucky that my insurance paid for my concentrator which is quite expensive.

You may be able to rent these units so I would check with your oxygen provider.
