Bringing booze on board - my experience

I brought 3 large bottles of Coke in plastic bags through security. The agent looked in each bag to see if they had sealed tops. I guess if I was trying to sneak on anything they would have been taken. He did it so fast, that I didnt' think that he even looked, but my husband said that he did. Our friend put 2 - 1.75 bottles of booze in his one checked bag, no problem. Our bar bill for 7 days, 2 people was only $60.
