Hotel Majestic Barcelona

Since barcelona is going to be very crowed June 12-14th we have had to change hotel plans 3 times (this hopefuly is the last) and now we have confirmed bookings for the Hotel Majestic in Barcelona and I just looking for feedback on this hotel. I have researched it....but still would like your 1sy hand feedback on this hotel. Im also wondering what breakfast in this hotel is like and how small is the outside/roof top pool?

You won't find a better hotel in Barcelona than the Majestic. Enjoy your stay. Tim

Hi, We spent one night post cruise at Hotel Majestic and would highly recommend it. The location is great...on a lovely street with many nice shops and restaurants and it's quiet (wouldn't want a hotel right on Las Ramblas for example because of noise). Rooms were clean, nicely furnished and with very nice bathrooms. Excellent service from all staff. The rooftop pool is really lovely. We arrived from touring too late to have a swim, but went up there for an after dinner drink and it was soooo nice. Cool, smooth jazz being played, floating candles in the pool and other candles on low tables, wonderful views and a hip international crowd. A fantastic way to end our two weeks in Europe.

We have always tried this as our first choice. We have had to stay elswhere when we couldn't get in at the Majestic, but the other places just were not the same. The rooms were great, the pool is very nice and the breakfast was very good.
