Excursion time question

When Princess lists a tour as "8:30-11:30", does that mean you need to go back to the ship at 11:30? For example, in Roatan, the Gumbalimba Park tour is 8:30-11:30. Is there transportation back to the dock later than that so you can enjoy a full day?

Without reading the shore excursion description, 8:30 - 11:30AM means that the tour will leave at approximately 8:30AM and return to the ship at 11:30AM. Many times, the tour operators will give people on a tour the chance to get off the bus on the way back to the ship at a shopping site or in a town/village and then it's the passengers' responsibility to find their own way back to the ship.

When you board the ship, your tour tickets will be in your cabin or delivered shortly afterwards. Each ticket will include the meeting time, meeting place and what to bring, if anything. You can always ask at the Shore Desk whether you will have the option of being dropped off on the way back to the ship.
