Bell Ringer Posted January 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2007 yes, I have posted this on the St. T- St.J board, but there is more traffic and wise people here all the time.... We are interested in the St. John Eco Hike , but I need to know about how long ( distance wise) this hike is. The description sounds interesting, but I have some ankle problems that act up at weird times. Thanks for any other details you can share.

Bell Ringer Posted January 31, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted January 31, 2007 That is what I love about these boards...quick answers. We will still consider the tour. It sounds like fun.
nana0605 Posted January 31, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2007 Just returned from Mariner...St John Eco Hike was the highlight of my trip....Wear good walking/hiking shoes (not high top boots, but sturdy)...Do what the tour guide says, "the crab walk"...Trail can be rocky, but just in a few places. The views are spectacular and you spend a few minutes (maybe 15) at Honeymoon Beach and you can only get there by taking the hike or staying at Caneel Bay Resort....The group (15 people) on our hike were the only ones at the beach....Don't miss this fabulous excursion.
