travel222 Posted January 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2007 Also - is there a "package" deal for the entire cruise as I do not qualify for the complimentary use of the T-pool.
chachabell Posted January 31, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2007 Is it in working order? Has anyone used it on a recent cruise? Thanks I used it 3 times during my 1/12/07 cruise and it was working fine. I believe there is a package deal but I qualify for free use so I didn't pay attention to the pricing.
Rare forgap Posted January 31, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2007 It worked in December. I think the package is $100. I was going to do this and decided against it. I used the pool three times. It was the MOST wonderful experience...unlike anything I have done. Be careful if the pool is hot which it was on the first night. My blood pressure dropped and I almost passed out in the dressing room. I looked like a boiled lobster. The temp is supposed to be slightly above body temperature. bill turcotte Posted February 1, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 1, 2007 We were on the Galaxy 2 weeks ago . We did the 10 day Pass to the T-pool. It cost $110. which would of been a great price if we used it every night , But I only used it 3 times so I would of been better If I did the $20 a day . suzeyQ Posted February 1, 2007 #7 Share Posted February 1, 2007 Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly IS the t-pool?
bill turcotte Posted February 1, 2007 #8 Share Posted February 1, 2007 The T-pool is the Thallasotherapy pool . The pool has a number of water stations . One Station is simply a water fall where warm water falls on your back . One area is a long seat where water bubbles up and flow all over your body . Some Stations spray hard water on your thighs , feet or back. If you do all the Stations you feel like you got a message.( sorry about spelling ) You know like some one rubbed your body all over . You feel so good you want to go to sleep . But instead of a person rubbing your body its jets of water . Thats a T-pool
