hello123 Posted January 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2007 The RCCL info tell me the ship is in port 10-6 the Grand Cayman schedule shows 8-4. I have booked a tour based on the ships info and TA has confirmed 10-6, should I be worried about which one is right??? HELP
lorilea Posted January 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2007 I've done the same thing! I've booked a 1 pm excursion. Anyone know?
akcruz Posted February 1, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2007 Remember that ship time is not always the same as port time. For our cruise in June we are in port 8 - 4 ship time, which is 7 - 3 port time. If you are booking private excursions let the tour operator know which ship and they will be able to help you with port time. As long as they know which ship you are on, they will not book you for a tour that doesn't work with your schedule. So, bottom line is depending on when you are sailing and from where, there could be a 2 hour difference in ship and port time.

If you go to the Grand Cayman Port Authority website you can bring up Radiance's actual port times on recent sailings. The earliest I saw was 4:30pm but most departure times are between 5:30 and 6pm. I was worried when I saw your post. We have a 2 hr excursion at 1pm that I'm now feeling better about. Hope this helps. Lori
