Slyfox16 Posted January 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2007 Does anyone know if there is any place in the cruise terminal or near by to pick up water or soda before boarding the Legend of the Sea? Thanks, Seth Sclevin@aol.com
suncoastgirl Posted February 1, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2007 There is a Publix grocery store not too far from the terminal. It is located just over the Platt Street bridge on Bayshore Blvd. You would need to take a taxi there. If flying and taking a taxi from airport or hotel, ask them to go there before taking you to the terminal.
SeaPA1 Posted February 1, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2007 There is also a wine shop in the Channelside complex (where the cruise terminals are located). I believe they sell sodas & bottled water (I know htey have singles in a cooler by the front door). Obviously they'd be cheaper at a grocery store, but probably not after you tack on the taxi fee to get you there, especially if you're just looking to buy a few sodas/waters. EatonDoolittle Posted February 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2007 Would someone please give me an idea about the proximity of parking to the Holland America pier? I found a nice web site on the port, but could not really tell the distances between parking and the piers. In FLL, some piers are close to parking, some require a shuttle bus. Taking my first out of Tampa in November, and will be driving over with my 85 year old mom. And, oh, we'll be bringing plenty of booze and sodas. Thank in advance

Thank in advance Parking for HAL is directly in front of the terminal in a fenced lot. If you like you pull in in front of the terminal and the porters will assist you with your luggage. Leave the Mrs. there and pull to the end and the lot is right there. It is a ssimple U-turn and you are right in front of the terminal. Fee is $12.00 per day...and worth every penny...;)
