MIRACLE balcony cabins w/ obstructed view

It depends on which you are talking about:

Cat 5a - These are completely obstructed. You are looking at the side of a lifeboat. If you are lucky and are between lifeboats, you can see a sliver of water. They are basically a step above a regular interior room. The plus is that they are an extra 40 feet larger than a regular interior room. They have french doors that open up(to a railing, no balcony) so you can hear the ocean, and receive natural light.

Cat 7a - These are real balcony rooms. The top of the lifeboats are below the height of the balcony railing. You can look straight out fine. You cannot look straight down and see the water, as the lifeboat is in the way, and these cabins are also recessed somewhat within the ship. The exception to this is for the cabins next to the first three lifeboats. These are larger, and do block your outward visability some.

If you have your choice of 7a rooms, I would suggest cabin 5236. It is next to a service room, and the balcony extends out past the room and is three times as long as a normal one. We did not hear any noise from the service room either.
