Arrival Times - Actual vs. Scheduled ??

We are scheduled to arrive in Aruba on the Connie at 10:00am on March 16th. Anyone have experience on arrival times ever being any earlier than scheduled or are these times usually right on track ?? After a day at sea and only two ships in Aruba that day, don't understand the late arrival time. The AM snorkel tours leave at 9-9:30am and so we are forced to book the ship tour in the PM.:(

If nothing goes wrong..

On the Bridge the computer plots departure location, next port location, time, and lets the ship sail at the required speed to get there at the desired time.

On previous sailings these times have been changed by late departures, suicides (ship has to go back and look), medical emergencies, weather conditions ie. head winds, wave height (can't let too many people get rocked out of bed).

In most cases the ship will get there at the desired time. We have also had NLV (hurling & Montezuma rolled into one acronym) on board and the port delayed our clearance.
