crusinwen Posted February 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2007 Was wondering for anyone who has been to Cabo San Lucas...have you tried a company called Cabo San Lucas Tours? Their internet site is Cabosanlucastours.com . We are considering a ATV tour there that sounds like alot of fun - starts in the desert and ends up at the water. Its almost 1/2 price of what the boat is charging. Just was wondering if anyone knew the reliability of this company or if anyone has dealt with them. Thanks so much! Fblack Posted February 5, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2007 Please double check with them on exactly where you can ride. I was in Cabo on a cruise last year and friends rented ATV's from a local company. They have rentals right in town near the Light House. My friend was told that they could no longer ride on the desert and dunes. Apparently, someone bought up lots of acreage to preserve it and vast areas are now private. Rumor is that Brad Pitt filmed parts of the movie Troy here and bought the land to preserve it. Anyway, just ask them.
gottago2mexico Posted February 5, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2007 This tour does still drive on the dunes and the desert. It's possible that another ATV tour maybe used to go where your friend heard about, and now can't, but this tour still does.
