I am confused! Port time vs. ship time

I did some research on the internet. This is what I came up with:

If Ship time (R/C Vision of the Seas out of LA) is 9:36 a.m. then

in Cabo it is 10:36 a.m.

in PV it is 11:36 a.m.

in Mazatlan it is: 10:36 a.m.

But, on Mazatlan Frank's website it says that Mazatlan is the same time as ship time and that PV is one hour ahead of ship time. From my research it looks like Cabo and Mazatlan are 1 hour ahead of ship time and PV is two hours ahead of ship time. Does anyone know for sure? I am trying to plan my shore excursions on my own and don't want to miss them. Thanks!

You will need to check with your cruise line. I sailed on the HAL ship Oosterdam last week. They changed their ship's clocks to match Cabo and Mazatlan, but they do not change them to match PV (so PV time was 1 hour ahead of ship's time). For the record, Cabo and Mazatlan are on Mountain Time, while PV is on Central Time.

Make sure you find out what your ship will be doing - it makes a big difference if you are planning your own day in port.
