kendallison Posted February 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2007 Scenerio: It's a Saturday morning in early December, Miami, Florida. You've just returned from a wonderful week on the Liberty. Problem: Because you're using frequent flyer miles, you get the least desirable flights and your flight doesn't depart until 7:20 PM. You've got a husband and 2 elemantary school aged daughters, and all your luggage with you. What do we do? Is there a hotel on a nearby beach that sells daypasses? Has anyone ever done the Parrot Jungle Island excursion through RC? Any other ideas???
negc Posted February 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2007 When we completed last Fall's repositioning cruise on Jewel of the Seas, we ended up in FLL and because our flight was not scheduled to leave until 6:45 pm, we took the Florida Everglades airboat tour. It was a great experience and helped fill some of the time until our flight was scheduled to leave. You will still have a lot of time to fill before your flight but it sure beats sitting at the airport all that time. I believe tha RCI offers the same tour for passengers who end their cruise in Miami and I highly recommend it.:)
kendallison Posted February 7, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted February 7, 2007 I saw that one but my youngest daughter and I get seasick on small boats (but not large ships thankfully!). Anyone else?
