galvezhome Posted February 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2007 Is there a beach in st thomas that isnt all that crowded, the pics ive seen of the beaches look pretty packed, is there a beach that isnt?? We're going in Aug, they all look beautiful and all about the same, is there one you would rather go to than the next??
richtersl Posted February 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2007 You won't have a problem with crowding in August. We went to Coki Beach and Trunk Bay in July a few years ago on a land-based vacation and both were fine. And, as per a local we chatted with, the month of August is even slower than July. There were maybe 2 ships in port each day the week we were there, if that. You will have your choice of beaches. ;) The toughest part will be in determining which beach to spend the day at, not which beach to avoid. smw0621 Posted February 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 7, 2007 We absolutely love Magen's Bay - and the best part is there's no solicitation.
serene56 Posted February 9, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 9, 2007 I t will also depend on how many ships are in port with you. www.cruisecal.com to check. we have 5 ships in st thomas the day we go-- so i can imagine that a lot of beaches will be crowded
