Discover Scuba Excursion

Did anybody do this? Is any scuba experience required? How was it overall? Any info would help, thanks.

Discover diving is for people without experience. Grand Turk diving is fantastic. I have dove there before, however I am certified so I can't comment on this particular tour / operator.

My dw and I took a discover scuba excursion in Cozumel last month. This is by far the best excursion we have ever had:) . We are now planning our next cruise and on getting certified. We both snorkled before but no experience in scuba prior to last month. We had a blast, go for it. We want to be certified to dive the wall next April on Carnival Freedom:D .

We just got back from the Costa Magica cruise that included Grand Turk. We did the Discover Scuba Excursion and it was GREAT! The three instructers were very patient and did a great job at teaching us the basics. You do not have to have any scuba experience so go for it. Sea Turtles, Baracuda and so many different and very colorful fish are well worth it. I would highly recomend it.
