room service

If I recall, you're talking about the Spirit.

Your options are: room service (24/7), the Blue Lagoon (almost 24/7, great for burgers, hot dogs, wings, fried rice, fish & chips, etc.), and late night snacks served in the casino (mini-buffet of sandwiches, sliced fruit, cookies, skewered meats, potstickers, etc.).

Depending on the sailing, the Chocoholic Buffet might be scheduled for close to midnight. Sometimes, it's offered in the middle of the afternoon.

The old-fashioned gala midnight buffets are a thing of the past. They haven't existed on NCL in years and most mainstream lines don't offer them any longer - some have one per sailing. While they were impressive, I don't really miss them - they were such a waste of food.

The galleys prepare finger sandwiches for the casino late in the evenings, and the newer ships have a Blue Lagoon restaurant similar to a fast food joint with chicken wings, wonton soup, fish and chips, hamburgers, and cheeseburgers open late if not all night. Plus room service operates 24-7.

The days of the midnight buffets are over. Cruise lines can no longer afford to toss more than half of that buffet into the trash any longer. Not at todays rates.

what do you mean almost 24/7? Sorry I am a naive newbie:o

The Blue Lagoon is advertised as being open 24/7, but in the real world they do close it briefly, probably to clean it, restock, etc. It's closed from about 3 am to 5 am. (don't quote me on the exact hours).
