Hi: Was wondering if anyone out there has done the Alaska cruisetour package -- your thoughts, opinions, and recommendations for Alaska newbees. We are considering this for July. How were the overnight accommodations for Canadian Rockies? Is the Dome rail car worth upgrading to? Appreciate any info - Thanks!

Have not tried the Celebrity cruise/land cruise package but have done Princess cruise/land tour and it was a wonderful experience. You should be aware of the possibility of propulsion problems with the Celebrity ship's Millennium, Infinity and Summit before taking any cruise to Alaska.

Alaska is a fantistic place to visit.
