Glory/Key West 11/21/04 possibly port change

I was just reading that there is an offshore powerboat race in Key West the day that we are to pull in. Does this mean that we will not be docking in Key West? Has anyone else ever been in this situation and what does Carnival usually do? I'm just curious, wouldn't have done much in Key West either way. Please let me know if you have any information.

We didn't do any excursions. we shopped around at the port. there were lots of stores. there is this restaurant outside where you can get big drinks and some good food.we stopped here first then went shopping.they will go over this port before you dock. the place is very clean and there's alot of activity there. the beach is right at the end of the pier and they have people to wait on you at the beach. there is also a pool you can use as well and you can get served right from the pool.
