StlGal Posted February 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2007 Hello.... My fiance and will be getting married while cruising on board the Mariner of the Seas this coming June. We will be cruising for the first time on the Mariner of the Seas along with our three collective children & 20 other guests. I would like to put together a scavenger hunt for our wedding guests/cruise mates. I thought this would be a fun experience for them and a way to help them get to know each other better & explore the ship in the process. I was hoping to get some help from previous Mariner cruisers.... what kind of objects/items should I include in the scavenger hunt? eg. tickets, programs, napkins, autograph from cruise director... other objects??? Any and all ideas & suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for all of your help!
jrm9999 Posted February 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2007 Heres a few simple ones: 1. condiment package from Windjammer 2. Johnny Rockets napkin 3. Coffee stir stick or cup from Cafe Promenade 4. Some type of excusion brosure from the shore excusion desk. 5. Something from the room, like a room service menu or laundry order form. 6. Adventure ocean program or brochure. 7. A map of the ship 8. A spa services list 9. Guest comment card (make sure they are out the day you do the hunt)
JanineM Posted February 16, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2007 Here are a couple of ideas ... There are sheets of trivia questions in the library. Plus they have daily news from different countries in various languages. You could have people collect the Ship Shape dollars from the fitness center. cruisingrightalong Posted February 16, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2007 Here is one: Under the rock wall is the "height" of the ship...they would have to write it down.....make sure to provide the "questions/hunt" and pencils!!! Lou

Libby7 Posted February 19, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 19, 2007 Sounds like a good idea. Maybe the 'tough' item to get, and could be a tie-breaker, would be to get the Captains autograph on the daily compass that is issued the day you have the scavenger hunt.
