Looking for Hotel SAN FRAN near pier 27 area

Looking for a nice but not terribly expensive hotel near pier 27 where Golden Princess will be departing. Will be there 2 days before cruise. Want a safe area and nice clean hotel fairly close to pier. Will be able to walk to Wharf and other touristy areas from there.

heres a couple of suggestions,, ive only been to the hyatt and its nice

most of the hotels are 100+ a night,,

check hotels.com

theres good info there,

I wouldnt personally stay in the union square area.. i would prefer the wharf area since its more touristy..

but its like any big city..

oh yeah the argronaut is right on the main street where fishermans wharf is, thats the best location ,, the rest are close also but that one is right on the main street,,,
