If I book directly with RCI can I also get cruise insurance with them, or is this done with a outside company?? Also is the insurance added in to your deposit?? Thinking about just going thru RCI and droping my Travel Agent, have not booked yet... Thanks...

Yes you can get insurance directly from them. I don't believe it is added to your deposit, but to your invoice. I would think though, if you cancelled prior to final payment, that amount would be deducted from your deposit return. After all, it is insurance.

I learned the hard way that you must pay for it when you make your final payment. When I called to make my final payment, the agent did not ask me about the insurance and it slipped my mind. When I realized it afterwards, I called RCCL back and they said because I already made the final payment, I had to call the insurance company directly. The price would still be the same. Just something to keep in mind.
