Jewel of the Seas

I have a couple of questions regarding the Jewel of the Seas

1. Can the minibar in the stateroom be emptied so we can use the refridgerator?

2. Is there a sushi bar?

3. Does the exterior deck wrap all the way around the ship?

4. Anywhere I can find pictures of the interior of the ship?

1. No, all the stuff has to stay in there or you get charged.

2. Yes, in the Windjammer

3. Yes, I believe it is on Deck 5 on Jewel, it may be Deck 4.

4. Go to www.webshots.com and search Jewel of the Seas

On our last cruise on the Jewel (11/06) we asked our cabin steward to empty the little fridge and he did. We wanted to put our bottled water in there and maybe any desserts we brought back to the cabin (we never did this). Do not empty it yourself though, or you will be charged, even if you're just moving the stuff into a cabinet. Ask your room steward to do it.

Thanks emilygrace. I was about to post the same information. We ALWAYS have the steward take the sodas, etc. out of the refrigerator to make room for what we'll really use. I keep fruit and cheese from the Windjammer in there. It's a much "safer" snack than some of the other choices. ;)

We have always emptied the refrig. in our staterooms on RCCL (14 sailings) and have never been charged. We simply inform our stateroom attendant and he clears it out for us. Stuff has been placed above the vanity mirror before (there's a lip), nothing has ever fallen, and the refrig. was ours to use.

Just ask and don't be afraid that you will be charged unless you plan on drinking or eating what's inside.

On our cruise last month we also asked our room steward to empty out the mini bar and he did it with no questions asked. Actually, we put the stuff on the shelf in one of the cabinets and he took them for us.

I don't ever remember seeing Sushi on the ship, but we don't eat it so I really didn't look.
