Has anyone ever used there in room phone to communicate with each other? I have read about it but never heard if it works or not. Cruising with walkie talkies is very nerve racking at times, with people on the same channel, teen not hearing it if in disco. So please any in put would be great.

Yes, you can do room to room calls.

Yes, we used it, too. You can leave messages also, if I remember correctly.

Yes, and there are also phones set up throught out the ship so if you are in the casino, or other parts of the ship, you can call up to the cabins.

We're on the Triumph this summer and were wondering if their phone system allows you to leave a message like in a hotel? On the Fantasy we could not leave a message if no one was in the cabin

On most ships I think so, there is a book in the room that will indicate how to make room to room calls. Here is a page from the liberty book
