Different PVP question then the other one :)

I booked my honeymoon cruise online directly with carnival, so I didn't deal with anyone at all. I'm the type of person who likes to know who is dealing with my reservation. Is there any way to find out or is it a free for all to anyone who is working a particular day?

Also, if it is just first come first served can I call the 800 number and find someone I like to pick my case up and just deal with them from now on? ( We're not cruising until May of 08 so I'm bound to have plenty of concerns, questions, changes, etc..)

Thanks in advance for any replies

Even Though You Booked Online Your "file" Should Still Be Transferred To A Pvp For Them To Follow Up With You. Sometimes Depending On Who You Get They Might Follow Up With You Or Not. They Usually Might Not Since You Booked It Online And Now They Get Nothing Out Of It. I Would Call 800-819-3902 And Let A Pvp Pick Up And See If They Can Find Your Assigned Pvp Or Have Whoever Answer It Become Your New One :) :) :)

You can call 1 888- CARNIVAL and speak with anyone about your booking. I know its easy to book online, but at times you can get a better rate by booking it with a live person, if there's a promotion you qualified for.

Good Luck

when I booked it said promo code PCD (but no actual discount) so I figured it was just a not that I had cruised before and to make sure I got the invitation to the past guest party or whatever.

If I called and asked the person who answered what kind of discounts I might qualify for could I cancel the existing booking and rebook (of course as long as it's not a 1-day sale lol). Or would I have to be sneaky and cancel first and then call back and rebook with someone else?

I know all about the comission perks. I work in a shoe store and anytime someone comes in and just wants to try a size before they order it online I get to be not so helpful and we MAY not have the sizes they want. I guess I just got excited about booking my honeymoon and didn't think of helping someone else out while I was at it. :(

If you qualify for or there are discounts available for your sailing a PVP or CVS (Cruise Vacation Specialist) at Carnival can look for them and then just make the changes to your booking, you would not have to cancel and re-book. My CVS applies savings all the time for me once I'm booked if a deal or savings comes up. Just ask.
