Rewards Points After Final Payment - Quick Question

I know that this has been asked hundreds of times, but I was curious how close to the sail date were you able to redeem your points. I just made my final payment for a May trip. I have a 1000 point. I am sending in for that redemption. I will also have another 500 by my March statement which is at the end of the month. My question is will NCL acknowledge my additional points so close to my sail date? I probably won't be able to get the points to them until the beginning of April. My trip is May 20th. I don't want to lose my points if they won't redeem them for me.

 

Has anyone had this experience? Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have redeemed NCL points after final payment, but on late bookings. I suggest you contact them directly and inquire. My booking agent, did email me that NCL had to have my coupons by the final payment date, just yesterday.
