on our first trip on aos a couple of years ago, 2 weeks before departure, rccl upgraded us from an ov to a d-1...when we got to the pier in san juan, we went up to a porter and told him our problem with the tags...he came back with new tags for us...u will have no problem...happy cruising!

We changed cabins last November on the Freedom.

We checked at the airport on arrival at the Royal Caribbean Desk there. They told us NOT to scribble out and re-write. They provided us with new blank tags to use. They also said that blank tags were available at the pier upon checking, but we did it at the airport.

We had put the old tags in our hand luggage ready to put on before going to the pier. So it was pretty easy to re-write.

We were upgraded and just filled out new tags at the pier. it only took a few minutes. We felt this was the best thing to do as we changed from the aft end or the ship to the forward. They load the bags in different areas--especially crucial on a Voyager or larger class ship.
