Hotel in Barcelona

Trying to do a post cruise off the Brilliance in Barcelona the end of April.

Any suggestions for a hotel downtown for less than 100 euro???????

 

Any hints on a first visit to Barcelona would be appreciated.

A balcony overlooking Las Ramblas is 110 EUR but you can get a standard room for 90 EUR. Tax is included plus a free 24-hour buffet including beer and wine. :cool:

 

We booked a year out. Many European hotels are very small by American standards and need to be booked well in advance. Good luck!

I would imagine it means a tiny, inside room (much like on a cruise ship but maybe a wee bit larger). ;) Again, many European hotel rooms are much smaller than we Americans (and Canadians) are accustomed to. And, of course, the cheapest rooms will be the least desirable ones.

 

Personally, we are going for the balcony overlooking Las Ramblas. :cool:

We stayed at the Continental last July. It was fine, not five star by comfortable and friendly. The balcony rooms can be noisy, but fun.

We stayed at the Jardi in October 96euros for a deluxe room with terrace, other rooms with small balconies are less. A wonderful experience, check it our on tripadvisor.

We lucked into finding the hotel Fiesta Caspe - extremely clean and walking distance to lots of great places - Sagrada Familia, Las Ramblas etc. We paid like 80E i believe last September.
