New passport info 2/28

Just an FYI for people waiting on passports. I have a friend who works for passport services at one of the facilities in Virginia. All the passport facilities got a call yesterday 2/27 telling them that passports were going to be delayed longer than usual. If you have sent off for a passport..........the centers are now being told that for expediated services it could take 4 weeks OR MORE.......for regular service, it will take up to 8 weeks or more. Now, I sent off for mine 12 days ago, paid the extra and mine is already here but thought I'd put the warning out for those of you who want it.
