solo cruising cost

I know that in 1A cabin a single traveler pays 150% of the cruise fare but in any category above that they pay 200% but I can't seem to find this in print on the Carnival site or book. Where is it?I need to show one of my fellow cruisers.

The single supp is made of silly putty. They bend it, twist it, cut it in half, pinch pieces off of it and, sometimes, completely remove it at will.

I think once the ship gets closer to sailing, one person in a room beats no one in the room. Also, I am sure solos spend much less time in their cabins than couples and families which may mean, statistically higher per person sail/sign tabs. I don't know, just throwing out some ideas. I know between drinks, casino, excursions and whatnot, I spend as much as two people on these cruises. The only thing is that they charge my S/S card less for are the standard tips.

I am going on a cruise the week of Memorial Day -- solo. I have 4 ships in mind (Legend, Liberty, Glory, Triumph). I plan to wait until 30 days out and see which, if any, have a price freefall. I know it is a holiday weekend but closer to the cruise TA's are turning back unsold rooms and people with insurance are cancelling out. If Carnival gets rooms back from organizations that do not get 100% refund from Carnival, Carnival can do the upgrade thing throughout the ship and then priced the lower category rooms at a deeply discounted rate (sometimes at cost) just to get the drinkers, gamblers, shore excursion takers, souvenir shoppers and the like (a.ka. Solos) aboard.:p

In other words, nothing is cast in stone. Good luck:)
